AMERISSE is a bitter aperitif made from blackcurrant, bitter plants and various fruits.
It is prodused by Distillerie Merlet & Fils, well known for their Crème de Cassis de Saintogne, for which berries are grown locally.
These same berries are combined with several bitter plants such as gentian, angelica, sagebrush and rhubarb to back its natural astringency and then with other fruits to enhance its fruity flavours and complexity.
Enjoy alone on ice, with sparkling water or to twist a classic cocktail.
